TRACES FOUND ON THE OPAL COAST BETWEEN OCTOBER AND DECEMBER 2025. 2025
On the Opal Coast, men and women from all walks of life attempt to reach the United Kingdom by crossing the English Channel in overcrowded small boats in search of protection or a better life, leaving behind silent traces of their passage in the dunes.


Only the remaining traces in the sand before departure become evidence of what is happening there; more than objects, they act as witnesses to an invisible reality marked by violence.

By working with these found objects,  what is usually erased - from everyday items to traces of police violence - shows both absence and presence.
